Highway Enhancements for Safety (HES) Team

The Highway Enhancements for Safety (HES) Team investigates and recommend improvements and countermeasures for traffic related problems on the state highways. Led by Reed Henry, these teams perform the following tasks:

• Identifies and recommends countermeasures to reduce accidents frequency and/or severity at locations with perceived accident problems

• Provides expertise in traffic problem resolution

• Focal point of statewide Safety Management System
